- Start with what Amazon says happened, not what you expected the issue to be.
- Note every ASIN, order, date or example mentioned.
- Separate the policy allegation from the required next step.
- Use the notice as the checklist for your evidence and response.
Identify the enforcement level
Determine whether the notice affects a listing, selling privilege, account feature or the entire seller account. A listing-level issue and an account-level suspension require different operational responses.
Find the exact allegation
Look for the named policy, examples, dates, ASINs or transactions. Amazon notices can include general policy language alongside the facts specific to your account. Your response should focus on the account-specific part.
Highlight what Amazon is asking you to provide
Some notices request invoices or supply-chain documents. Others ask for a Plan of Action, product-compliance evidence, identity verification or another specific action. Do not substitute a generic POA when Amazon has asked for a different type of evidence.
Check Seller Central for connected evidence
Review Account Health, Performance Notifications, case logs, listing history and user permissions. The notice should be interpreted together with the account records that support or contradict the allegation.
